Thank you to everyone that donated to the Ministries of the Poor Thanksgiving Food Drive! It was a huge success! Because of the generosity of parishioners from Pope St. John XXIII, St. John of the Woods, the South Tacoma Chapel and St. Rita's Station, we were able to provide over 80 turkeys and baskets of food to those in need at Thanksgiving. Because of the high cost of turkeys and groceries this year, we spent over $2,000 on turkeys alone. Your monetary donations of $750 went towards that expense. If you would like to help offset the cost of turkeys, please make a donation to the "Ministries of the Poor" and write "Thanksgiving" on the memo line. This will help recoup that cost.
