As many of you may remember, December 4th 2023, a car tragically ran into the wall of St. John of the Woods. After much patience and anticipation, I am pleased to share with you that we have now begun the permanent repairs to the church wall. This work is expected to be completed within 30-45 days from the start of the project. 

The estimated construction start date is September 16th. We plan to hold weekend Masses in the church during construction. Weekday Masses will be moved to the Hall Library. Our contractor will ensure our church is clean and welcoming for each Mass.



This is an update regarding the church wall construction. The contractors constructed a partition wall and painted it. Pictures attached. This will protect the church from debris and dust while construction proceeds. Bricks for the exterior wall are scheduled to arrive on Wednesday Sep. 25^th. They will be placed in the parking spots adjacent to the north wall of the church. The handicap parking spots will be open.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your unwavering support and prayers during this time. Thanks to your faith and generosity, we are finally moving towards a resolution of this matter, and soon we will see our church fully restored. As we move forward, I invite everyone to embrace a spirit of co-responsibility, recognizing that the restoration of our church is not just the work of a few, but a shared mission of the entire community. Together, we continue to build and sustain our beloved parish.
