Congratulations to the 75 Confirmation candidates from our Regional Parishes who was confirmed on Thursday, June 2 at 7 pm at St. Ann Church. May they and their families be always blessed as they walk the righteous path through life.
Thank you again for your response to the Annual Catholic Appeal this year. We have received gifts and pledges totaling $22,800 from 66 families of our parish. We are looking forward to surpassing our goal to fully fund our parish project. Keep an eye on the tracking thermometer on our website to see our progress!
Our parish goal this year is $25,328. All gifts received over our goal will be returned to the parish for our parish project which is new carpeting for the Educational Resource Center. Please prayerfully consider how you can participate in helping our parish be a light to others.

Volunteers Needed
This is an invitation to anyone interested in the decorating of the church. There are many varied possibilities to consider and with that varying time commitments. Weekly flower arrangements, special liturgical and devotional events and Holidays especially Christmas and Easter. If you like to work alone there is a time for that, if you like to work in small groups there is a way for that as well.
I am stepping down from this ministry, the first weekend in October will be my last weekend arranging flowers. If interested or have questions please call Joan O’Shea at 253-531-5159

Coffee Hour after Sunday Mass
The coffee hours in the parish hall following both Sunday morning Masses have re-started.
Encouraging social distancing, and masks worn at the serving tables; we will again be able to safely fellowship together in a relaxed atmosphere.
We offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot cider, and doughnuts for your enjoyment; and we thank you for your donations big and small.
Many hands are needed to offer coffee hour on an on-going basis. If you are interested in any part of making this hospitality event happen, please call Brenda at 253-922-6569. Thank you.

Confirmation Reception
St John of the Woods community will honor our newly confirmed youth on Pentecost June 5th with a reception for them after the 9:30 am Mass in the Parish Hall. This is the Sunday after they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, All are invited

No 9:30am Mass on June 22
All the priests will attend the Priest’s Day from June 20th to the 22nd. Therefore, there will be no 9:30am Mass on Wednesday June 22. If you want to attend the daily Mass this day, please join with St. Ann at 8:00am. Thank you
JOINT PASTORAL & FINANCE COUNCIL MEETINGS
The Joint Pastoral and Finance Councils meet this evening, Wednesday, June 8 at St. Ann's. The Finance Council will meet at 6 pm and the Pastoral Council will follow at 7 pm. Both meetings will take place in the school building at St. Ann's.
BAPTISM CLASS
Class will be offered for parents and godparents who have new born babies and children under 7 years old. Next class will be on June 11th from 1pm - 2:30pm, at St. Ann Parish

The New Parish plans to build a new school on St Ann ground soon. We are currently in the planning phase and need help on the following subjects: Survey, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural and Geotechnical designs.
