Archdiocesan Campaign - Annual Catholic Appeal 2023

Through the Annual Catholic Appeal, we have the opportunity to support our local Catholic community. This archdiocese-wide campaign provides vital funding for ministries that serve people and parishes throughout our region. Your gift helps support ministries that bring Christ’s light to others, such as:

• Youth and Young Adult,
• Mental Health,
• Hospital and Healthcare,
• Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) - Camps and Athletics
• Immigrant and Refugee,
• Diaconate and lay formation,
• Priest and seminarian support,
• Support services for parishes,
• and dozens more

This year, our parish's goal is $53,707. We believe we can achieve this with your generosity. All gifts received over our goals will be returned to the parish for our parish project which is “fence project"

ST. RITA'S

• We will be having Mass on Sunday, April 30 at noon to celebrate the anniversary of the consecration of the church in 1924. A reception will follow at St. Rita's

• We will be also having Mass on Monday, May 22 at noon to celebrate the feast day of St. Rita's. A reception will follow

Rehearsal will be May 7 at 6pm, candidates and sponsors need to be there.

GARAGE SALE

Pope St. John XXIII parish will hold our yard sale on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 1, 2, and 3, from 9:00am until 3:00pm.

We will begin accepting donations next week, May 1. Please make sure that donated items are clean and in good condition, just as you want your purchases.

We will accept household items in working condition; please make sure cords come with appliances. Please do not give TVs, as we have no way for them to be tested.

We have nowhere to store furniture, so please don't bring it in until May 29 - 31. We also seek volunteers to help with picking up large items during those 3 days and volunteers to help setting up and helping during the entire week.

MINISTRY TO THE POOR

We are in need of socks, sweats and men’s jackets and coats. Please consider a donation. Thank you.
