Archdiocesan Campaign - Annual Catholic Appeal 2023

“Give, and it will be given to you.” (Luke 6:38) is the theme of this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal, and this weekend kicks of the 2023 Campaign.

The Annual Catholic Appeal funds ministries and services for your local Catholic community across Western Washington.

This combined effort of parishes and missions ensures the availability of outreach ministries, education, faith formation, administration services for parishes and much more! You should have received Archbishop Etienne’s in-depth letter this week highlighting the ministries that support our communities.

This year, our parish's goal is $53,707. We believe we can achieve this with your generosity. All gifts received over our goals will be returned to the parish for our parish project which is “fence project"

FAITH FORMATION

CONFIRMATION MASS: May 10th at 6:00 PM at PSJXXIII with Archbishop Paul Etienne

FIRST COMMUNION MASS

• May 6th, 9:00 AM at STC
• May 20th, 10:00 AM at SJOW
• May 27th, 4:30 PM at PSJXXIII

First communion and confirmation students need to have their prayers memorized: Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Act of Contrition and 10 Commandments. Fr. Tuan will schedule to interview the students in April and May. Parents please help your children to study these prayers at home.

BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS

Classes will be offered for parents and godparents who have newborn babies and children under 7 years old. Class on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Pope St John XXIII Religious School

GARAGE SALE

• We will be having Mass on Sunday, April 30 at noon to celebrate the anniversary of the consecration of the church in 1924. A reception will follow at St. Rita's
